I wish I was still back in Cambodia.

Nevermind that the tuk tuk kicks up a cloud of red dust that chokes me each time it starts.

Nevermind that shops close early.

Nevermind the scorching sun and the dehydration.

Nevermind the aching feet and tan lines.

Just today, I wish I was still in Cambodia.
