It snowed in Shanghai
Last year, I came home on December 2nd after having spent a month in China.
The day I left Shanghai, Mulan told me that it's officially winter.
Mid November, I was in Beijing for almost 2 weeks. Temperatures dipped to a low of -8 degrees Celcius. On most days, it was well below 0 degrees Celcius.
I saw my own breath there for the first time. And I was excited, all the more because David said it might snow when I'm there.
There was no snowfall when I left, but weeks later, it was reported that it snowed in Shanghai for the first time in 50 years.
A part of me wished I had stayed to see it, but a bigger part knew that I had to come home.
David sent me some pictures he took from his apartment.
